Directions to Neutron Bomb:
NOTE: This place is a pain to find at night if you've never been. The Official directions are listed below mine, but they are kinda confusing. Also don't bring anything with you that you don't want lifted from your car because it ain't a nice area of town.
Dead Atlanta directions:
- Go 85/75 south/north and exit Freedom Parkway (in downtown, a little north of I-20).
- Go to the first red light and make a right on Boulevard SE.
- Drive a mile or two, crossing over Irvin St NE, Auburn Ave NE, Edgewood Ave SE.
- Look for Chamberlain St SE which is a turn on your right -- DON'T turn here just look for it.
- After Chamberlain, Boulevard will split into three lanes. The center lane goes under a bridge - don't go that way. Take the right fork, before the road drops down under the bridge. The bridge is level with the road before it drops down to go underneath, so you may pass the turnoff -- if so just turn around and try again.
- Follow this road a few hundred feet and it will dead end at Decatur.
- Make a right on Decatur and the Neutron Bomb is in the two-story building/warehouse on your immediate right. There are big colored panels on the building (yellow and orange) but they aren't very noticable at night.
- The address is 486 Decatur St but don't look for any numbers on the building. Here's a link to Yahoo Maps, pointing right at 486 Decatur.
- There aren't any lights or signs for the club, so be careful if you go by yourself. There may be punk-rockers hanging around outside the club entrance, if not look for a wooden covered door kinda in the middle of the building. If bands are playing when you arrive you'll know where to go.
- There is a liquor store in the same building that sells cheap PBR.
- Oakland Cemetary is located across the street behind the railroad tracks but I don't know if there is a way in (you're on your own if you go there at night, they only allow visitors from dawn to dusk).

FROM 85 NORTH. -->
Take the EDGEWOOD AVE exit- exit number 248B- towards AUBURN AVE/J.W.DOBBS AVE --Turn RIGHT onto EDGEWOOD AVE --Turn RIGHT onto BOULEVARD SE. Stay to the right, do not go under the bridge after EDGEWOOD AVE. --The building is on the corner of BOULEVARD and DECATUR ST. It has orange, yellow, and black squares painted at the top of it.
FROM 85 SOUTH. -->
Take the BUTLER ST/J.W.DOBBS AVE. exit- exit number 248D --Turn LEFT onto JOHN WESLEY DOBBS AVE NE --Stay straight to go onto IRWIN ST --Turn RIGHT onto BOULEVARD SE. Stay to the right, do not go under the bridge after EDGEWOOD AVE. --The building is on the corner of BOULEVARD and DECATUR ST. It has orange, yellow, and black squares painted at the top of it.
FROM 20 WEST. -->
Take the HILL ST exit- exit number 58B- towards STADIUM. --Turn RIGHT onto HILL ST SE. --HILL ST SE becomes BELL ST SE. --Turn RIGHT onto DECATUR ST SE. FROM LITTLE 5 POINTS -- Take MORELAND AVE south --Make a right at the WRECKING BAR, before you go under the DEKALB AVE bridge. --Take a right onto DEKALB AVE. --DEKALB AVE becomes DECATUR ST. --Look for the building with the orange, yellow, and black squares at the top.
